Baja California in western Mexico is a great place to visit year-round, but the best time to go is between October and March. These are the months with the highest average temperatures, so you can be sure of good beach weather.

April and May are especially beautiful, as the fields are green from all the rain and the wildflowers are in bloom. But whenever you come, in Baja California you are sure to find plenty of sunshine because it is a desert region.

Hurricane season is the time of year when tropical storms are most likely to form in the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. In Mexico, hurricane season usually runs from June 1 to November 30. The peak of this season is between mid-September and mid-October. During this period, Mexico experiences an average of 2 to 4 hurricanes. But fortunately, not all of these storms make landfall.
